No Soliciting Sign
We have politicians come by and have had overly entitled Jehovah’s witnesses (they let themselves in and left pamphlets on the table) among other neighborhood issues (aka our meth addicted neighbor with a warrant) that we don’t want to deal with, so I made us a sign.
I used an old cabinet door we got from gutting an old Bittercreek cabin, black enamel paint, gray enamel paint and scrapbook letter stickers. First, paint the color you want the letters to be and let it dry, most likely overnight and even a few days to let it harden up wouldn’t hurt. Place your wording with the stickers and paint with your background color. Let dry and peel off stickers. I had to touch my letters up slightly with a permanent marker where I hadn’t let the first layer of paint, but you can’t really tell. The sign matches our super duper UPS dropbox:
We’ll never have wet packages again! The camper we used had been sitting in a neighbor’s yard for years, so we asked about it and he offered us $20 to take it. We gutted it and fixed it up and our delivery men are duly impressed.
