I found this recipe online and decided to give it a shot. I didn’t have a roast, but 2 chuck steaks cut in half and stacked worked just fine. I’ll warn you, it’s got a 7 hour cook time, but that works perfect for this 9-5 gal.
It looks like kind of a mess and looks even worse while you’re cooking it, but it’s tasty. We didn’t even get it onto plates. I had good intentions of eating at the table like civilized humans, but we just went at it like wild animals. We just went at it at the kitchen counter with some forks and it was gone before we knew it.
