Wood Stove Update

Sorry guys, been slacking the last few days (actually making about 10 batches of jam since I went to the city and got some beautiful fruit, so I’ve been busy to say the least). While I’m working on that, I’ll share a few projects I did earlier this year.

Once we could stop using the wood stove, I wanted to do something about the wall behind it. It’s scarred and scuffed to heck with all the wood and tools back there. Here’s what it looked like before:

The wall behind our fireplace, yuck!

I found this cool textured wallpaper on Amazon and slapped up some in an hour for under $30. Here’s how it looks now:

  1. Good post. I learn something totally new and challenging on sites I stumbleupon on
a daily basis. It will always be helpful to read through content from other writers and
use a little something from their websites.

  2. Wow — Great job!!! Always knew it could look a lot better than it did. Looks like real brick too!

  3. This is such a good idea! I’ve been looking into alternative heating solutions so get my house a little warmer during the winter. I hope I can get mine to look this nice! Great job!
