Watch out for this scam!

I got a pretty smart little phishing request in my spam box this morning, It was titled UPS Package H7189736313 and said that a package had failed to be delivered. Gmail has a cool feature that alerts me when emails are spammy or fishy, so I noticed that it was actually sent from a site called LinkedIn. I went to UPS.com and put in the number, no such package.

If you get an email like this or any email asking for information (especially during the holidays, it’s overtime season for criminals) do NOT click any links or give out any personal information. Go independently to the site the email originated from to verify legitimacy and deal directly with the company.
