Acorn Squash with Maple


2 Acorn Squash

2 Tablespoons Butter

4 Tablespoons Brown Sugar

4 Tablespoons Maple Syrup


  1. Preheat to 400 degrees.
  2. Cut Squash in half from stem to end. Scoop out seeds. Score the insides of each half several times with a knife. Place halves in a baking pan cut side up. Add ¼ inch of water to the bottom of the pan.
  3. Coat the insides on the squash with ½ Tablespoon of butter each.
  4. Add a dash of salt. Add 1 Tablespoon sugar to each half and drizzle 1 Tablespoon maple syrup.
  5. Bake for 1 hour until soft. Spoon butter mixture over exposed areas several times during baking.
