One week

I injured my ankle playing soccer last Monday. I’m not sure exactly how I did it, but the ladies on my team said it looked really awkward and painful when I fell. I half twisted/fell on/got kicked all at the same time. I knew I did something bad when I fell and had to come off the field to walk it off, but I finished out the game. When I took my socks off, it started to swell up a lot and started to bruise by the next day and started to be difficult to walk on. I’m not sure if it was a sprain or a fracture, but it’s a week later and I played on it today and didn’t have too much trouble with it. I did have a tender moment when it got kicked, but I haven’t noticed anything swelling or any new bruising. I suppose we’ll find out if I did any damage tomorrow. I’m planning to play again tomorrow, but it’s much lower key on Tuesdays, so hopefully it’ll be more of a stretch out and exercise. Anyhow, I think it has healed better and faster than I thought it would. 7 days off the field was making me crazy!
