Dreaming of pus?

I have now had 2 dreams involving the popping of zits. In the first one, I dreamed that I saw something stuck in a pore and got some tweezers to pull it out, it kept coming and came out to be a small cylinder (about the size of a roll of dimes) of pus or whatever comes out of pimples. It left a gaping hole in my forehead that continued to ooze and bleed so that I had to bend over to let it drain into the sink periodically. I couldn’t tell, but it seemed like the hole went through my skull. It was pretty graphic and quite disturbing.

The second one involved me picking at something on my right elbow and having this thick, sticky, white stuff come out. It was kind of like dough or something. It just kept coming and I got the impression that it smelled bad.

I looked up what this means in a dream dictionary and this is what I found:

Pimples

To dream that you have a pimple, relates to issues about your self-esteem and self-image. You are feeling awkward or out of place in some situation or relationship.

To dream that you are popping a pimple, indicates that some negative emotion needs to be expressed and acknowledge. These emotions that you are holding back are on the verge of erupting.

Sores

To dream that you have sores on your body, suggest that you are keeping in some negative emotions and attitudes that need to be released and expressed. Consider the symbolism of the body area where the sores are located.  Perhaps the dream is an indication that you are still feeling “sore” and resentful about some situation or relationship.

Pus

To see pus in your dream, suggests that you need to express some aspect of your feeling. You may be harboring some prejudices, attitudes, or some other negative emotion that attempting to be released. You need to acknowledge these feelings and deal with them. Also consider the symbolism of where on the body the pus is located.

  1. Twenty years ago I had a nightmare that I still remember vividly. I looked in the mirror and saw that I had a pimple on my nose. I squeezed it and a little bit of pus came out. I felt I hadn’t done the job completely so I squeezed it harder, and suddenly a stream of toothpaste like pus and blood, 1/4″ in diameter, shot out and splashed all over the mirror.

I wiped off the mirror, and saw to my horror that I had popped my nose. I HAD NO NOSE. Just two holes in a flat space on my face… I realized that everybody would laugh at me forever after, and woke up with a start, hands on my nose reassuring myself it was still there.

  2. TO DREAMOF PUSS OR PIMPLES MEANS AQUIRED WEALTH,,,,,THE OTHER INTERPRETATIONS IN BLUE ARE STUPID AND FALSE.

  3. I have had this dream twice now, the 1st one is worst than the 2nd. In the 1st one, I wake up to go to school, i go to the bathroom and look in the mirror, I see 2 or 3 white chunks of pus on my cheek and my lower chin. Im horrified, and for some reason I immediately began popping them, but they were so deep and covered like cheese on a pizza, I practically peeled them off, at first my face was fine, then i check my face again and find large, disgusting gap holes in my face. I freak out and told my mother crying, but she didnt seem to care. The holes were deep enough to see my flesh. Grossly similar to the episode in family guy when peter and his family are cursed by a skull, peter wakes up to find a hole in his face and keeps digging at it.

  4. I actually had a EERILY similar dream last night about me popping a pimple on my forehead, and a HUGE ball of pus and mucus came out. It left a hole in my head and was exposing brain tissue. I tried to convince my grandma I needed stitches, or at least neosporin and a band-aid, but she wouldn’t listen. Any ideas there?
