Vegas!

We arrived in Vegas around noon and checked into our hotel before headed out to explore the strip. I took some pictures of our room because it was so awesome. There was a TV in the bathroom, awesome bathtub, a stocked minifridge, that unfortunately charged us anytime something was moved, super comfy beds and soft sheets, heaven! We had lunch at the Excalibur buffet and headed down the road. We wandered around the New York hotel and saw all the New York replicas and the Paris hotel. We went to the Mirage to see the Sigfried and Roy dolphin and tigers, which was awesome. After that we wandered around the Forum shops at Cesar’s Palace, watched the talking statues. We went to the Bellagio and looked at the gardens there and got a table at the Fontana behind the dancing fountains. Wow! One of the best things in Vegas! After we got our fill of that, we caught the bus back to our hotel to crash and soothe our aching feet.

The next day we started at the Mandalay buffet and hung out at the wave pool for awhile. Unfortunately, Mr. O had a plane to catch, so he took off, but Cabo and I went to the Mandalay aquarium, the Venitian and rode downtown to Fremont street to check out vintage Vegas. We picked up some souvenirs and saw the Golden Nugget. We called it an early night at 10 when I passed out the second my head hit the pillow.

Our last day we had Krispy Kreme for breakfast, checked out and headed to the Wynn. Cabo wanted to see the Ferrari dealership and the newest Ferrari. We made our way slowly back to the truck to get an interview on our way out of town. We made one more stop at In-N-Out burger for my very first burger there. It was amazing, totally worth the hype, but get at least a 3 by 3 (3 patties and 3 slices of cheese). You can actually feel the cheese coating the inside of your stomach all warm and cozy. Yum.

We made it home in 26 hours after stopping to sleep for 6 hours and have spent the weekend recovering from a week of non-stop action.
